BLNKK
2025–Present · OngoingArt direction, brand identity and guidelines for BLNKK, a community-led fashion label. An ongoing project spanning the visual system, packaging concepts and image direction, with the identity now in use on the live pre-launch website.
The brief
Create a recognisable framework for a fashion label shaped by its community, with room for creator collaborations and different collections. The challenge was to establish a clear BLNKK identity without overpowering the people and releases it represents. My role spans art direction, brand design and the development of the brand guidelines.
Visual identity
The identity gives BLNKK a recognisable signature while leaving room for different collections and collaborators. The wordmark carries the name; the fluid symbol works at smaller scales, from garment details to labels. Black, white and Klein blue hold the system together.
Brand guidelines
I developed and assembled the brand guidelines to make the identity usable beyond individual applications. They connect tone of voice, logo hierarchy, colour and typography with a shared library of graphic symbols, giving future releases a consistent starting point.
Creator system
The co-branding system gives BLNKK and each collaborator a clear place within the same identity. Consistent spacing and relative scale make the lockups adaptable while keeping the brand recognisable. The Martin Skålander example shown here comes from the brand guidelines.
Packaging concept
The visual language moves into a physical format: a restrained exterior opens onto the expressive graphic pattern inside. A packaging concept under development as part of the ongoing project.
Image direction / AI studies
AI-assisted visual studies for a first glimpse of the collection. Directional light, fabric details and partially concealed garments build anticipation without revealing the full pieces. These images explore the art direction rather than document a physical shoot.
Brand in use
The identity is now in use on BLNKK’s live pre-launch website. The opening imagery, numbered membership experience and Essentials previews carry the visual language into the launch. These views document the site ahead of the first collection; the wider brand project continues to develop.
