Odalisque Magazine
2021–2024Logo design and editorial art direction for Odalisque Magazine. Four annual editions explore typography, photography and page composition, alongside a wordmark that remains in use across the publication’s digital channels.
The wordmark
I designed the Odalisque logo still used on the magazine’s website and Instagram. Bold letterforms carry the name, while the smaller letters of “Magazine” sit between and around them—a detail that rewards a closer look.
Covers / X–XIII
A selection of covers from 2021–2024. Oversized issue numbers, contrasting typography and changing placements of the masthead give each edition a distinct presence.
Issue XIII — 2024
Beauty, fashion, art and interviews, connected through expressive typography and varied page structures. Contact sheets and oversized letterforms sit alongside quieter, more open layouts.
Issue XII — 2023
Mirrored images, repeated forms and graphic patterns shape the issue. A selection spanning the table of contents, fashion editorials, artist features and the Maggio / Bryant interview.
Issue XI — 2022
An experimental mix of photographic contact sheets, dimensional lettering, collage and image grids. Each story brings a different visual language to the printed page.
Issue X — 2021
From restrained beauty layouts and the Ava Max interview to playful fashion collages. A broad selection of typography, image sequencing and graphic treatments from the issue.
